How to track my stolen phone with my imei num

My phone was stolen a few days ago and the authorities does not even care 

Now I want to take matters into my own hands

How do I track my phone with my imei num

Please help

what kind of phone is it, also how much did it cost and what state/province are you in, that will effect wether or not the authorities are even allowed to help, did you tell them the cost

Was it password protected/encrypted? It's likely gone forever my man, so I hope you had the correct safety measures in place to protect your personal info. If you didn't have any sort of automatic wipe function set up, and if your encryption wasn't strong (even if it is), change the passwords to every account linked to that phone (banking, media, amazon, netflix, etc, etc)

You should use the phone's own find my phone feature, and if you neglected to set it up, then SOL.

 

Send a self-destruct command to the phone, Call your wireless ISP and blacklist the IMEI.

Login to your phone account, maybe you can still find it.

If the stealer are smart, he would disconnect your phone by now.

You will only get the last online position.

Your phone probably already erased, and your data would safely gone by now.

Getting your phone back would be close to nil.

All i'm saying is to let it go.

There is a way to actually track your phone with IMEI but its not exactly legal and you need some hardware and a lot of patience. If you lock your phone with google, some devices have a way of not allowing your phone to be used without modifying SOCs internal values.
