Hellouu!!

So I was about to buy a GTX Super for 206€ and realized that there GTX 2060 cost 280€.
So basic question: is it worth it the over 30% increased cost of the GTX?
Note1: no, I won't use GTX very likely

Note2: I use it for content creation: video edition and live streaming while gaming on Twitch

Thanks in advance!! ❤️

I'd say to go with the 1660 Super, since going for the 2060 won't net you many benefits on adobe premiere and the likes, and the nvenc module is the same. Only worth if you need more.

The 5700 coats the same as the 2060 price you gave and performs about 20% better, that's why I mentioned it

5700 is better pick IMO but if it must be a Nvidia card I take the cheaper since RTX aint worth shit at the moment... :I

Even a 1660 Super performs better than a 5700/xt in stuff like adobe premiere.

It's a hot GPU....to sustain a decent temperature it has to go over 65% speed....therefore noise is bad

That's not normal in any way shape or form. A colleague has it, his is is Whisper quiet and cool as hell, cooler than my Pascal card.

That's a flat out lie lol. The 2070 yes, the 2060 gets left behind unless the application doesn't support OpenCL

Dude, get your facts straight. We're not talking about games here.

That was mi intention....but there is also a performance difference between the 1660 and the 2060....but besides FPS, not sure if it'd make sense for productivity (streaming and video editing)

What cpu and psu do you have?

2060 is a lot better then a 1660 super and im sure that youll benefit from those extra cores since you do use premiere.

It also depends on you cpu because if you have a weak one and you dont plan on upgrading maybe a 1660 super will be better for your money.

If you do have a strong cpu like a 9600k and above or a 3600 and above then go for the 2060.

If you have an older model cpu like a 4/c 4/t maybe consider the 1660s

I had the same decision and i ended up saving my money for a way better gpu to pair wity my upcoming 10th gen cpu.

Oh, in this case go for the 2060. It'll have DLSS support, so it'll end up running the game way better than the 1660S or any current AMD card.

I have, right now, a Ryzen 7 1700 and a Ryotoro Enigma 80+ Gold 750W

I've been researching and I might upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600, since it's affordable for me and apparently better than the 1700

No, DLSS requires Tensor cores to do the upscaling, which are only present in current RTX cards.

and you you need the DLSS support, its only with rtx cards like the homie igormp said above
