Hey guys , i,m in need of help, I'm a new gamer and just bought my first pc two weeks ago,i have an rtx 2060 super from gigabyte ,but my gpu is overheating when i play playing games like GTA 5 or Farcry5 ,

the temperatures rise upto 80*c.and keeps going up. i fixed the gta problem by changing my power management mode to adaptive, but for farcry 5 nothing is helping out .

my system specs are:-

1) Antec NX 310 case

2) Amd Ryzen 5 3600, with the standard cooler

3) RTX 2060 Super 8gb from gigabyte (2 fan variant)

4) Corsair vengence ddr4 ram 8gb >< 2

5) Gigabyte b 450 m motherboard

6) ant e sports fan (1)

i have three fans totally in the case, two that came with the case and one that i bought

the overheating happens even after i reduce the graphics to normal , but there is no change

i have one fan at the back of the case , one on the upper right corner and one in the front bottom

id like some help , cause im really lost and confused , if i've done something wrong

80c is not overheating and it's perfectly normal

Take the side panel off and if the temps go down significantly then it probably bad airflow.

I have that same model, it's normal for it to go past 80º (reaching up to 85~86º). Don't worry about it, the card won't die.

If you really care about temps, try to undervolt it and make a custom fan profile.
