Davinci resolve or Adobe premiere?

Many people told me to go premiere and to be fair, resolve seems hard on some things and for some reason I can't find a way to export with the help of GPU, but only CPU power.

I have failed to extract after 30 minutes of exporting and things like that. Even the hitfilm express feels easier and smoother sometimes

Does premier has an easy learning curve?

I have Premier Elements, it was pretty easy to figure out if you spend a little bit of time playing with it, but that might not be the same Premier you're asking about.

I have used both and I think davinci is easier for the basic stuff (all I’ve ever used it for). It took me a while to get used to the layout of premiere but that might be because I was coming from premiere elements 14 and was so used to that.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

If you're new to video editing, and you want a free program, DaVinci Resolve is amazing, and seriously stable.

Besides It is entirely free and there are tutorials for pretty much anything.

If you want the paid version for whatever reason, it's going to be cheaper than premiere by a lot. Even more so when you take into consideration After Effects and Audition, and compare them to Fusion and Fairlight.

Between Resolve and HitFilm Express, I find Express to be easier to use If you have no previous knowledge or just basic knowledge, but DR has so many features that I rather use that instead of Hitfilm (add-ons are seriously good if you don't want to spend a lot of money tho).

Ultimately, I would suggest to get Creative Cloud (not just premiere) if you are actually serious about editing.

Ok I guess I will stay here for a while. I just can't find any way to use GPU to export. All internet guides point at some options witch I don't in my case. I don't know if they have the paid version or if my 2060 super is missing something important for export. Either way CPU is doing all the job for now
