I need help please with fedora and pie hole

Hi everyone i am installing pi-hole on my fedora server vm and i am having this problem, i feel i am tech savvy but not tech savvy enough. Please reply if you can help.

Is it a good idead to perminently disaible it? isn't it for security?

Yes, it's for preventing running unsigned code.

Well it's not like you have a choice since pi-hole will not work with it...

SELinux is for user access enforcement. The problem with Pihole is much of it is PHP and attempting to run system commands. 

You could try SELinux in permissive and see if that works, but you might just find it easier to disable it all together for now than trying to work around it. 

It's really not essential security for what i assume is basically a 1 user system.

Permissive will work but is useless unless you know why you're using it - it's basially disabled but just keeps the logs of what it would have done.
