Replacement GPU with older 1090T AMD phenom processor

Morgals

My ATI Radion HD 5670 died. I am building a new PC but no reason this one can't be passed down.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte 880gm-ud2h https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-880GM-UD2H-rev-13#ov

It has PCI-E 2.0 x16 interface with ATI Hybrid CrossFireX support (what ever that is)

The processor is a AMD phenom II x6 1090T.

I have a 600w power supply.

I'm looking at cards, but am confused how a card so much older is better.

and the comparison

Just looking to get a decent card as good or better than what was in place. Need to ensure it will work.

I am not overly tech savy (but can google) and i am having a hard time deciding. The nech marks are all over the place and i can't seem to find a good way to compare them.

I am in Canada so .ca links are appreciated.

Thank you

GTX 580 was once a top tier chip. They also run incredibly hot, and may die if they've seen a lot of use (Your link was a used unit). Drop a GT 1030 in there, or better, if you're looking for a gaming capable machine.
