What will be the best amount and speed of a ram for a Kaveri Apu?And what will be the least amount and speed for apu?

At least 8GB of 1866Mhz or higher.

The amount isn't an issue, the speed is what matters.

Go with as fast as you can for the pricing.

Price spikes at like 2133 or something.

You can buy 1600MHz and 2400MHz RAM for the same price.

Then how about the amount of memory.8gb enough to even game??

I would for 8GB of 1600 and OC or 1866+ if it's not much more. 8GB Is definitely enough for gaming.

You should definitely try and get some 2x4GB 2133MHz RAM, Corsair or G.SKILL would be good. Also there isn't that much of a price difference between 1600MHz and 2133MHz, probably at most $20.

You can buy 1600MHz and 2400MHz RAM for the same price.

 

I've noticed that, maybe because 2400MHz RAM isn't in high demand.  Otherwise you can clock the RAM lower if stability issues arise.

Ram plays a huge role in APU performance. I ran benchmarks on my A10-6800k, and each 267 MHz increase made on average a 3 FPS difference in Tomb Raider. I suggest getting the highest frequency ram that your motherboard will support, preferably 2400 MHz.

Get any 1600mhz or higher but make sure CL9 or less no pont in getting 2133 CL11 no better at all as you divide cas latency by mhz so 1600mhz cl9 =0.005625 sec to respond while 2133mhz cl11 =0.0051570... so thats 0.000467944 of a second faster for $20 I think not.

The response time is irrelevant for an apu. It raw bandwidth that you want. in the uk 2666mhz is cheap and you can always under clock it and run tighter timings if the apu or board wont run it at 2666mhz
