Hi,

I'd like to ask, are there any benefit of a curved monitor? Currently having a flat monitor and so far I'm happy with it.

The one curved monitor I'm interested in is the HP X24C and it got everything I'd like to have. It's not out yet but it should be released next month.

If it's under 27" curved is redundant

It's just barely good for a 34" ultrawide, which is what I'm using

Meh then. Like if that's really the display you want, it will be perfectly fine. But buying based on curved with a small panel isn't a selling point or something I'd focus much on

The point of curved monitors is to give you a more "direct" viewing angle on the edges of your screen. A 24" monitor is so small you have a pretty direct viewing angle regardless, so you'll likely not see a difference. I'd go flat at that size.

Which is something for me then :P I haven't been interested into popular stuff and otherwise I wouldn't have been interested in this one.

That's the main purpose of having a more direct viewing angles. I value great blacks and contrast a lot and the nights in games for example are really nice on my current monitor. But the angles on the edges are not really "direct" if you get me.

I had no idea there are other curved 16:9 24" monitors. I thought only ultrawide and from 34" and up. Although I've seen the one from Samsung, the popular quantom dot monitor but that time, they were too expensive a few years ago. CF24 and CF27.

And oh, it really has to be VA. What about the Samsung LC24T550FDUXEN and LC24F396FHUXEN?

MSI has some too but they lack VESA 100 and other has RGB, not really for me.
