I'd go for a slightly larger power supply. And i consider looking into a better monitor.

Well you say I really cant go over $1500 and I think that this delivers good value as it is 75hz and has an IPS panel. also according to PC Part Picker my estimated wattage is 229W. I really don't need anything fancy for my monitor. I mean I am upgrading from a 9 year old monitor, so it really can not get any worse!

Ditch the fan, go with a 3300x, and get a better graphics card.

You're going to run out of space extremely quickly with 250GB of storage. You can barely fit CoD on there.

for those listed uses a better gpu will make a much bigger difference than the extra cores.

So do u you think i should go for a gtx 1650 super?

Because with that I would only have to go over 30 bucks over budget with the ryzen 5 3600

Id drop those extra fans. You don't need them, the system doesn't make much heat

do you really need that expensive RGB RAM? you could just go for a 80-90 dollar, gskill non rgb 3200MHz kit or sumn, get a regular non rgb 10$ case fan, get a cheaper case, and spend the extra money on a better graphics card or a better motherboard. you will need to get more storage.

as for the psu, get a different one. 80+ white rating corsair VS series PSUs are unreliable. moreover you should prolly get a 550w one.

more than aesthetics, you should go for performance and reliability.

😕

The RX 580 outperforms the GTX 1650, however the GTX 1660 barely outperforms the RX 580

For most games the RX 580 should be good, however don't expect the best FPS at ultra / epic settings, if you want the best performance go for RTX 2060 (but that's not nesessary for you)

Go for a 8GB RX 580, something like this https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer/nitro-rx-580-8g-g5

That's a really good card and runs cool.

Regarding power supply, never cheap out on it, it's the most important part of the build, if the PSU fails it could end up damaging your parts.

NEVER CHEAP OUT ON IT!

I recommend getting the Rm550X https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Power-Supply-Units-Advanced/RMx-Series/p/CP-9020177-NA

It's 550w and can run a Ryzen 5 + RX 580

If your gonna go with a 2060 setup and do some overclocking then it may be worth getting a 750W PSU.

Storage wise atleast get a 1-2TB HDD, and you'll only need a 120GB-240GB SSD, if your multitasking alot on your computer, and copying files a ton, you'll need a SSD with DRAM, look it up to find out what that is.

CPU wise, ryzen 5 3600 is good however if you want to save $$$ you can go with the ryzen 5 2600, it's nearly as good and is cheaper, but that's up to you!

Monitor definitely needs an upgrade, i recommend these

22 inch - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/49400/lg-22mn430m-b-fhd-75hz-freesync-ips-21-5in-monitor

24 inch - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/48056/lg-24mk430h-b-fhd-freesync-ips-24in-monitor

24 inch - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/46599

If you decide on another monitor, ALWAYS get freesync, it makes a huge difference trust me.

the rm is a little overkill, the cx series should do for him
