LG V30 flashes message while connecting to a PC

Hello!

I bought an LG V30 today. It charges normally while connected to the power brick, but when I connected it to my PC, the message that allows me to choose between file transfer and only charging keeps flashing and I can't select one.

I don't want to return the phone, because I really like it and hope it's just some silly issue.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know :)
