Hi everyone, recently got a new motherboard after 3 aorus pro wifi (x570) died on me, and it works fine but there's a sound coming out of my graphics card when it's under any type of load at all. I thought it was coil whine, but it doesn't sound like any kind of coil whine I've heard of before. I can confirm it's just the graphics card, I've taken all the other parts out and it's just present when the GPU is plugged in under load. I can't change the PCI-E slot because the design of my motherboard basically has it so that triple fan cards can't go into the bottom slot due to the SATA connections being right over it and not letting the GPU slot in fully. It's also not a fan problem as I've had each one stopped one by one, I think it's coming from the card itself.

My build is: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ts9zTC

Here's a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drmLfossnOg

The sound might be hard to hear, it's a buzzing/static noise in the background but it doesn't sound like coil whine. ASUS hasn't responded to any of my messages, so I'm trying to reach out to the PC community, any feedback would be appreciated!

Coil whine will change with the load. It's also very noticeable when other fans are quiet. And yes it's a kind of buzzing noise.

With that said, I can't really hear anything in that video that doesn't sound normal, so you might need to record it with no load, and then ramp the load up so you can hear it.
