What's your total budget for the system, and what country will you be purchasing the parts from?

That 120MM AIO won't handle a 10700k. You need a 280mm AT MINIMUM.

Well a 240mm should also work fine to be fair, but I agree that a slim single 120mm rad is quite subpar.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

For the GPU, what's you budget? A 2080 super world fit in nicely, though wait for Ampere if posiible.

so how well the cpu cooler works depends on the length in (mm)? Sorry for the noob question

No, there are different sizes of AIO coolers:

80mm (these are extremely rare)

120mm (perform bad, generally better to buy a air cooler)

240mm (most common size, works well with most modern cpus)

280mm (this is where aios start performing slightly better than high-end air coolers)

360mm (generally used for high-end cpus (r9s, i7s, i9s, etc.)

480mm (only used n custom loops, not very beneficial in temps)

larger ones exist, iirc @Den-Fi used a 720mm one in a recent build but they are very rare.

noted thanks for the clarification.

My case specs states maximum cpu cooler length is 160mm. Does that mean for my setup i got the replace the case?

What case do you have?

It probably means the height, so air coolers over 160mm won't fit.

is it good or bad? lol sorry new to this.

Budget is not a issue. As long as it works good.

The DRP4 is a great cooler, literally impossible to hear it.

Coming back to the GPU, a 2080 super would work well, they can be found for around $800.

If you can wait, nVidia will be releasing Ampere around fall this year which should give significant performance boosts compared to Turing.
