I bought a OMEN by HP 880-123no computer a couple of years ago and now im getting into playing Squad but I can't really have high graphics which leads to others having a bigger advantage over me because they can spot me further and stuff like that. I first thought to upgrade my monitor to 1440p 144hz but with some more research I realised that wouldn't work because I can bearly push my fps to 60. As I have no other games to play only Squad I tought I have to upgrade to something better. But a whole new computer is too much. In one year I could reach a budget of about 1500$ so I searched on youtube and found a really good build. I also tought that I maybe could just buy a new graphics card that I can afford. So my question is if I can upgrade to maybe a RTX 2070 or 2080 into my current computer. Or will like the motherboard or CPU not be able to handle that?

Computer:

Motherboard: Tampa2

Processor: Intel Core i5-8400

RAM: Only says 16 GB

Current Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB)

Power Supply: 500 W and says active PFC Bronze-effeciency

The rtx 3000 series is launching very soon so upgrading to a high end card now would be a bit of a waste of money as new better ones are replacing them soon. Also that stock psu is most likely not good enough and would also need an upgrade. Could you send a picture of the label with it's model number on it?
