Hey guys, hoping someone can help me...

I built a new system recently, Ryzen 7 3800x overclocked to 4.4Ghz,

16GB DDR4 3600Mhz memory.

new Asus x570 board.

MSI Radeon RX5700xt

everything was working great up until the most recent windows 10 update, at which point, my display began to flicker constantly. I found that overclocking the GPU seems to make the flickering barely noticeable, so I tried a new Display port cord and found that the issue still persists. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

Are you using Radeon 20.5.1...?

Current PC spec. in my profile.
Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Odd...

I have a 3600 on an X470 'board, w/ 16GB 3200 & a Vega 56 (same W10 & Adrenaline versions) and no issues at all.

I had no issues at all with it, until the windows update, I thought it was just by chance that it started acting up the same time.. so I swapped out the old cheap Display port cable with a new one, same issue, only way ive been able to deal with it is to overclock the gpu, that seems to make the flickering so fast you barely notice it unless staring at something white and really looking hard.

Have you tried reverting the CPU to stock (graphics too, while you're at it)...?

It could be a RDNA only issue.
That happenned is the past, it's not new at all.

Yes, as soon as I revert either (or both) back to stock, I get the flickering again.

May be worth a DDU & reinstall...

ive also tried uninstalling the graphics card drivers and reinstalling with no luck.

Did you uninstall through the Radeon software or with the DDU app. (is it an app?) ...?

DDU gets in deeper than regular uninstall will.

I uninstalled the Radeon Software, and then went through device manager, and uninstalled the display driver, rebooted windows, and re downloaded Radeon Software. What does DDU stand for?
