Technicolor/Cisco DPC3216 IP Address?

Hi LinusTechTips Community,

 

I have a Technicolor DPC3216 internet and phone cable modem and I am wondering what IP address to use to connect to it to access it's settings (such as 192.168.1.1 for my WI-FI router), have looked through the manual for the modem and wasn't able to find any information about this?

Nevermind, I Googled around some more and found that you would use https://192.168.100.1/Docsis_system.asp

to access the settings of the Technicolor/Cisco DPC3216, the default username is "admin" and the default password is "password". Hope that this helps someone that has this problem now or in the future.

 

Update: If you are running on one of the newer firmware versions then you can sign in by just clicking the login button while leaving the username and password fields blank (try this if entering "admin" for the username and "password" for the password doesn't work for your modem).
