[Buffoon]

Please tell me what you think of this build, as it will cost me a whopping 1,800$ (without the monitor) in my country. I built it mainly for gaming on a 24 inch 1440p Dell monitor.

looks pretty solid, i'd agree w/ youngboy that you should probably get a 1tb ssd if you can. and my standard disclaimer about that case applies, the usb c on the front won't work unless you get a special adapter that's like $15-20 USD. (i say this as someone who plans to get that case, not really a huge deal just something you should know)

I would personally go for 2tb SSD, it's cheap enough nowadays. Makes sure that you won't run out of space for your games and doesn't cost that much (like 50-100 bucks more if I'm not wrong). Should serve you well in the long run. Also I'd go for Ryzen 3700x for the processor, makes it much more futureproof. 6 cores vs 8 cores and all that. New games will start to utilize those cores when the new consoles come so going with a 6 core right now seems... lacking. Of course this will cost you more but I think it will futureproof your machine a lot, so in the long run seems worth it for me, personally.

 

E: If you don't need the computer right now, the new GPUs from nvidia and amd are gonna come out later this year so that should make the last generation GPUs come down in price. You could grab one of those too.

nah go with 1 TB SSD and 1 TB HDD or with 512GB ssd and 2 TB HDD. Your setup it looks pretty solid maybe some case fans but they can come later. But get a better cooler than the stock amd. The thing is when you want to backup because windows just does shit and you need to reinstall it you can have the important stuff on the hdd and just reinstall windows without looking into buying more Storage just to backup your stuff.

You know, 1 game today might take up to 100gb (or more) of hard drive space. If you want 10 of such games installed, that's your SSD maxed. I would go for 2tb. Just my 2 cents.

I don’t really need more than 500gb SSD, I use a 1tb hard drive to store my photos, videos, movies and such. For games, I don’t have more than 3 on my pc and for that I don’t see a reason to spend another 150$ for storage space.

but are you palying 10 games frequently? The games you are playing more often you can put on the ssd. Its his PC i just wanted to say what i wanted to say. He can put 20 games on his 2 TB HDD and if we Calculate it it would be 30 Games so....
