Virtualization on Ryzen

I am hunting for a new laptop for development purposes. Options with Ryzen saves some bucks which I could use for additional RAM/SSD/Win10Pro.

My major needs include virtualization using Docker & WSL on Windows environment. Wanted to know, if Ryzen supports virtualization to support these purposes like Intel? If yes, does all Ryzen CPUs support virtualization?

All ryzen CPU's should support virtualization what I'm aware of it should be as easy to turn on in the bios

It should support it. I have run many VMs on my 3700x using Hyper-V personally. At worst you may need to enable Virtualization in the BIOS

yes it will support it. It is called SVM usually in the overclocking menu.

Only ones like 200GE doesn't support virtualization I believe... I don't have that machine available to check at the moment, but am positive when I tried using virt, that it didn't let me. But I could be mistaken.

Anyway, unlikely you would want that dual core for your needs anyway, but just thought I'd mention it.
