Boosting my old pc

Hello everyone,

 

I'm an old fan but new to this forum and not very well experienced in pc builds.

 

Now before I post specs I need to know if there is a program that I can use to give you all the info you need rather than digging and posting useless info. What I need is to know about any upgrades I can do to my PC.

For example I have SSD's installed however I just recently found out that not all SSD s are the same .. I also saw something about m.2 which I have on my board. But don't know if it's worth it.

Hardwareinfo gives you all the information about your system.

Considering userbenchmark is full of fake or manipulated data, I would not recommend that site.

I meant for finding ssd types and exact models, not for benchmarking.

Note: When I went from HDD to SSD .. It felt like I was missing out on A LOT .. now I'm looking to get this old pc up on its feet and have it run even faster but without overclocking or extreme cooling requirements ..t hank you guys !

To be fair, if you can run the things that you run, you may wait a year, otherwise you can check what you can't run

Ok, a 970 should still manage medium in 1080p. I’d recommend upgrading the CPU. What country are you in and what budget?

I live in UAE- Dubai and the budget is like .. 400 bucks ? Give or take a little.. I don't want to spend too much and I'm not going for the absolute best.

Is 400 bucks in Dihram or USD?

Could you please explain a little why you went with those choices? Is my motherboard not compatible with ryzen CPUs? 

And I know that ryzen has more threads but from a newbie research isn't the i7 9700k better ?
