Object-recognition app to appear on Google Glass (Blippar)

I'm quite sure I am not going to be happy about the advertising side of its application tbh as the last reason I want to wear glass is to watch more adds, but potentially it has some other cool applications. Will be interesting to see what happens

LOL. Good luck with that. I've worked with computer vision, and it's a huge pain in the ass to recognize objects at all, let alone with spectra of lighting effects from shadows and direct light that they'll have to overcome.

 

Even if it is implemented, it will require lots of computation power to work effectively.
