Best program to check CPU temps?

Hi guys

 

I'm just looking for a program that will check the temps of my cpu, as last night when i was live streaming my pc overheated, probably because i forgot to turn up the voltage on my fans, but id just like to make sure its a stable temp whilst streaming.

Whats the best program for it? (free)

RealTemp GT

 

Edit: run some stress tests to see if the CPU just randomly overheated or if there's something wrong with your cooling.

realtemp doesn`t work with amd

 

use hwmonitor

Which temperature should i take as the actual measure?

There's two for the CPU

Most of the time, the ones under the CPU tend to be fairly accutate (within 2 or so Celsius of the actual).

Mine looks a little different the first set of temps, lists down from CPU, Mainboard, TMPIN2. And where it says the actual CPU name and temps, it has packages not core #0 :(

I just downloaded Core Temp to compare, and it seems that the "package" temps, is the same as Core Temps readings :)

I just downloaded Core Temp to compare, and it seems that the "package" temps, is the same as Core Temps readings :)

Remember, always take AMD temp sensors with a grain of salt. They are TERRIBLE.
