Blue Screen during XMP enabled

Hello, My PC goes blue screen when I enable XMP on my Aorus B450m, Ryzen 5 3600 and Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8gb 3200mhz CMW16GX4M2C3200C16. I think it has something to do with the voltage, but im not really sure of it.

Try and fully reset the BIOS and just turn on XMP only, and slowly increase the ram clocks. 2133, 2400, 2666, 3000, 3200 and see if it still crashes.

I just bought the whole PC 6 hours ago and haven't changed any settings at the bios.

I have the same board and I am able run my ram speed at 3200Mhz, I hope this link helps.

In my experience it's the voltage defaulting to the stock voltage.   So, you need to up that to what the package says for the ram.   My guess is the voltage is at 1.2 instead of 1.35 which is required for 3200.

When I activate the XMP the voltage automatically sets to 1.35 from 1.2

The voltage is set to auto by default. Is activating XMP the only you tried or did you do anything with the timings also?

Yep, slot 2 and 4 only for dual channel. I was thinking that mobo is not supporting my ram? since CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 is not on the list https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_b450-aorus_m_matisse_190828.pdf

Was about to say that... if the 'board is Aorus B450M Elite, you should be using slots 2 & 4 as you move away from the CPU.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Only one I can see on their site that is B450M is the Elite... there's others that aren't Aorus (just Gigabyte), though.

Ah, yes... B450 Aorus M isn't the same as B450M Aorus; I know it sounds picky, but is can matter.  :(

lol, i did not know there are two version of MATX board for Aorus b450, I was only depending on our local mobos. Sorry. I don't really know why I can't config this to 3200MHz, I guess I should just stick with 2133Mhz

Just searched through the QVL for the RAM you listed in the original post & it doesn't appear to be listed.

Here's the link; it's a huge list:  https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_b450-aorus_m_matisse_190828.pdf

They label it differently so the recommended slots are DDR-1 and DDR-2 which are spaced apart and should be 2 and 4. So are the dimms in the labeled ddr-1 and ddr-2 slots?

On your board the DIMM slots are labeled in the order of DDR-4, DDR-2, DDR-3 and DDR-1. So the Ram goes in DDR-2 and DDR-1.
