Heavy on the front, considering the module. But with a bit of time you get used to it.

It can be a bit irritating for some people with the head strap. However you can definitely get used to it.

The eyes will need some time to adjust but once that's done it's very much a different experience.

Is it worth the money?

As of now I cannot say. I've only experienced the developer's kit and obviously, that won't be the final product. Only in due time will we see the new Crystal Cove is truly the final product. As of now, my verdict on buying it is on a 50/50.

I'm almost certainly going to be picking one up for Star Citizen. Once the consumer branded ones come out of course.

I never actually considered ETS2. That could be surprisingly fun.

having talked with a number of devs at CCP games, who have the crystal cove dev kit, it is leaps and bounds beyond the old dev kit, and rumors say the consumer kit will be another leap beyond that. I already have about 200 dollars saved towards buying one when they are released.

SC + Rift + GTX 880 = me never leaving my house. I like.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
