Posted June 13, 2020 So my old Pc's motherboard got fried or something and I'm building my new pc this Monday and my hard drive is still in my old one. Would I have to wipe the hard drive or would I be able to transfer it all back to the new pc. Also that's my only hdd/ssd. I have a USB to install the free version of windows 10. Would I install windows free version first than plug in the hard drive?
Posted June 13, 2020 You do not have to wipe your HDD, set it as your boot drive in your BIOs then you're all set.
