Budget (including currency):  750 USD

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Gaming

MOBO: Asus A320M-K
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - Turbo 3.9Ghz (6C/12T)
CPU COOLER: Stock
RAM: 16GB/3000Mhz/Dual Channel/DDR4
SSD: None
HDD: Toshiba 2TB SATA3
OPTICAL DRIVE: None
GRAPHICS CARD: ASUS RTX2060 6GB DDR6 OC
CASE: DeepCool D-Shield V2 - USB3 on front panel
PSU: CoolerMaster500W 80PLUS - 12cm
OPERATING SYSTEM: None
WARRANTY: 3 Years

I saw this pre-built PC. They're selling it for about 720 USD. I'm planning to use it for not so demanding games such as:

- Battlefield 3/4

- Grand Theft Auto V

- Madden

My only concern is the motherboard. Yo, where the VRM cooling at? :( Do I need active VRM cooling at all? The air circulation inside the case should be enough, shouldn't it? I can't see any heat sinks on the VRM, though. What if I just slap a couple of extra intake/exhaust vents on there? I'm not planning to overclock anything at all.

Is this worth it? Should I go for it?

Thanks.

You could get a similar one for the same price if you build and the fact that it doesn't have an ssd is a red flag

Edit : Only valuable thing in the rig is really the gpu

It has an rtx 2060 though.....

that's a weird build in terms of cutting corners in some places in order to fit a 2060.

no SSD

?? PSU.

a320 mobo....

SSD isn't an issue, tbh. I do have several brand-new SSD's at home; only SATA3 ones though but it would serve me right. What about the VRM cooling on the board? Is this board good enough?

For a 2600 yes.

but if you want to upgrade the CPU in the future i'll invest in a better motherboard too.

The board is extremely shit and will overheat on the VRMs
the CPU is outdated and a 3300X or 3600 are MUCH better and cost the same
The memory is likely CL18 as they almost certainly get it for cheap
The lack of an SSD is worrysome
The HDD is a garbage SMR drive
The GPU is most likely a blower so hot and loud
The case is super low end
The power supply has been planted by the terrorists at bombiste A on dust 2
the warranty won't cover jack shit if they're making such a shit build.

Y'all have made valid points. Maybe the reason I flocked to this build is the video card, it looked nice.

You know what else looks nice? A campfire inside your PC case ;)

Don't buy an imbalanced build based around a single component - easiest way to lose your money since warranty won't cover a burned component or house fire started by the power supply or board.

Considering how shit the MWE Bronze is, I wouldn't be surprised if Phoenix was sponsored by CM

Isn't it weird that operation shattered web came out just before the corona pandemic ?

TBH the agents in that coop mission would be the corsair CXM (grey label) and the S12II Bronze from Seasonic.

Do the CX Grey and VS Orange play the part of the terrorists? Or is that role reserved for 50% of everything put out by Thermaltake recently?

There was a lot of terrorists in that mission, so i guess there is a room for everyone.

Do those evga 750W N units count ?

I think the EVGA W/N models are being bought in bulk by the US Military to carpet bomb China - that's why there's a power supply shortage :/

They don't even need to buy them.

they just need to turn up the power supply testers (those machines that are used to put load on the PSUs) of the factories in china.

and then the fireworks will begin.
