i have looked around and don't know why but can anyone tell me why the (ryzen 7 3800x) + (rtx 2080 ti) bottlenecks the cpu with around 11% and the (i9-9900k) + (rtx 2080 ti) does not when the i9-9900k is the stronger cpu

i used ( https://pc-builds.com/calculator/ ) to check and don't understand it

Run your application or game, monitor CPU, RAM, GPU and VRAM usage with MSI afterburner or something like it.

Whichever is used up or maxed out is your "Bottleneck" but if your FPS or app performance is where you want it, don't chase better performance.

it is because i am saving up for a budget build a big budget build but i am unsure of what to combine im for DK and we have a big selection af gpu's but not as many as there is

and for the moment im basing my build on various aspects in DK i think the (msi geforce Rtx 2080 ti gaming x trio) is the strongest with the gaming aspect

i dont have that much for the cpu so im going for amd and i wanted a newer one because im going for long term så i had picked the (AMD Ryzen 7 3800x)

motherbord is (ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING Motherbord - AMD X570) because i like Asus and 570 because of the 4.gen compatibility

rest

Cooler Master MasterBox MB520

2x Corsair LL120 RGB Dual Light 3-pack + Node PRO - 120 mm - 24 dBA

G.Skill RipjawsV DDR4-3600 C16 DC - 16GB

Corsair RM750 (2019) Powersupply - 750 Watt - 135 mm - 80 Plus Gold certified

system storage

Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD M.2 2280 - 250GB

game storage

Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD M.2 2280 - 2TB

Seagate BarraCuda 3.5" ST2000DM008 Harddrive - 2 TB - 3.5" - 7200 rpm - SATA-600 - 256 MB cache

  1. That's not "budget" build. That's high end.
  2. You are wasting money with 2Tb+250Gb SSDs. You don't need over 1Tb for just games and software. And definitely not need two different drives. Get one 1Tb and add later if needed.
  3. I'm pretty sure there are other issues too, no way just these parts get you to 5kUSD mark.

of couse not my calculations was wrong sorry it's about 22.687 Dkk and 3464.25 USD

and the 2TB SSD is for the games that need a quick start up i have a 2TB HDD at the moment but wanted a faster drive to minimise the latency on the game and i wanted 2 seperate drives for the OS and the games and the 2TB HDD is half full and i have let my self belive that maxing out a drive on storage is making it run slower it is not a necessity it is just a measure that i take to be save. but wil take it to consideration.

but my hopes is that it will be able to run 3x1440p monitors at 144Hz
