5600 XT vs 1660 Super

Go to solution Solved by xAcid9,

for $50 more, 5600XT is worth it imo.

144hz is different story though, what is the rest of your spec and what game you expect to get 144fps?

Planning to upgrade to a 5600XT but it seems the 1660S is a good option as well, but if I'm upgrading from an RX 570 4GB and a 144Hz monitor, is it that much of an upgrade if i get the 1660S? The 5600 XT is about $40-$50 more but might be more of an upgrade, opinions would be apprecieated.

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 and I'm looking to get higher FPS in more recent games like (Monster Hunter World, RDR2, Assassins Creed). With my GPU right now, I'm getting decent fps, not just 60+

Yeah I've been doing research and people don't recommend the 5600 XT because of it's driver issues at release, but I'm planning to get the Sapphire model and have heard that all of them now ship with the upgraded bios.
