Trouble with sound

vdub31905

Ok so I got a new headset today and plugged it in and had it working fine all day. I decided to try and plug it in to the motherboard to test the quality and I didnt care for it so I plugged it back into sound card. Now I am stuck with no sound after messing with it for about 2 hours. I am connecting with optical cable and I am using a soundblaster ZXR sound card. PLEASE HELP!!!! ><.

Set the default audio device in the playback options menu that comes up when you right click on the speaker in your toolbar.

Have you tried turning it off and back on?  Seriously, could be just a bug in the software.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

I think I am going to re seat the sister card to my sound card and see if that helps.
