Projector for Poolside Movie Watching

Hi guys,

I'm tired of borrowing my friends projector when we want to chill in the spa and watch movies so I am looking for recommendations or advice about what to look for when trying to buy a projector for semi frequent set up outdoors. It will primarily be used to watch movies during the evening/night on a medium sized screen but my family has also expressed interest in using a projector that needs a larger throw range for when we have parties and want to display pictures, videos, etc.

Budget is around $500-$800.

EDIT: I went outside and measured the maximum distance it will be used at which is around 32 feet.

I was looking for a good budget projector and found this one after a lot of research, it's native 1080p and has good brightness and image quality.

Ill definitely keep this one in mind if I ever need a portable one but I was looking for a projector that has a better contrast ratio and a lumen count high enough that it's listed upfront.

Outside means more noise than normal might be acceptable.  The business grade stuff is cheaper than the home theatre stuff but it tends to be louder.  A lot of businesses are going under atm.  Finding a cheap used business projector could be the way to go.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

The issue is the vast majority of the business projectors aren't 1080 and usually dont have good contrast either. I don't want to buy a used projector that will leave me wanting in terms of image quality or brightness.
