You can't get the apps from Android onto an Iphone, they use different app formats.
You will need to download them all again off the iTunes store.

It won't get transferred, it can't be, the files are physically a different format.
You in-app data may be transferred but not the app itself. You need to redownload everything off the iTunes store.

Android to android did everything. Android to iphone clearly is ridiculous to do.

It's not really much different than, say, going from a Windows PC to a Mac (or vice versa).  The software is so fundamentally different that anything that isn't cloud-synced probably won't carry over.

Thats horrid. But i assume apple would be smart enough to make some kind of system thats like;

"This phone has whatsapp! do i have whatsapp in my store? oh i do? Download!"

Ideally that's how it'd work, even though it'd ask you to sign in again.  This is something companies need to address regardless of what you're switching to, I'd say.

It cant be that hard. Maybe a one time login and then it does everything would be fine. It made so much sense to me that it would do something like that.
