My first gaming pc build

Budget (including currency): $650

Country: U.S.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Modern Warfare, R6 Siege, future games

Other details - I have a monitor, mouse ,keyboard, and ssd/Hdd. I'm looking for a good gaming pc build around 650. That's what I have picked out below. Wondering if there is any other recommendations

Over budget but a way better build. That power supply you picked is dangerously bad, and I cannot fathom why anybody would build in something as ugly as the Rosewill Challenger.

Also the 5700xt will absolutely beat the brakes off the 5500xt.

The 3300x should be back in stock soon, if not buy the 3100 but please for the love of god don't pay $150 for a $100 chip.

An alternative to the 3100 is the i3 9100f, which is currently just $75

i5 12600KF | Zotac RTX 4080 Gaming trinity | Team Vulcan 2x16GB DDR4 3600 | ASRock Z690M-ITX/ac | WD Black SN850x 2TB

Cooler Master NR200P v2 | ID Cooling Zoomflow 280 XT | SeaSonic Focus SGX-750 | Thermalright 2x140mm + 2x120mm aRGB

LG C2 OLED 48" 120hz | Epomaker TH80 (Gateron Yellow) | Logitech MX Master 3 | Koss Porta Pro Comm

+1.

The 3100 should be ~$90 instead of $150.

An A320 board has no upgrade path whatsoever, the DS3H should be able to support a 3700x at stock speeds.

For $2 cheaper you get an extra 200MHz on the RAM.

a MUCH better GPU, this should last you a few years and can manage 1440p ultra comfortably.

A case that doesn't come straight out of 2007.

And finally a much higher quality PSU.

That case was ugly in 2007. The Antec P182 was a thing in 2006, the Lian Li PCA71, but yeah the dominant trend was really hideous cases

That CPU usually goes for $100 so dont pay any more than 100 for that, as other people have said, A320 has no upgrade path. Here is what I would recommend. Anyone please correct me if you see anything that could be better!

If you can spend $50-100 more then this

The motherboard change is for better VRM cooling and overclocking support. It also looks much nicer and supports more features. This cpu will last a long time and I wouldn't recommend going with the card I put as better rtx 2060s are usually found at the same price or cheaper.

Again any comments on how i could improve these is appreciated.

PSUs and motherboard stock situation in eagleland is completely FUBAR now, though the other parts don't seem to be hit nearly as bad.

AFAIK we are now allowed to post ebay links as long as they are 'buy it now' and not auctions...

I wouldn't recommend that over the biostar or the refurb D3H simply because it doesn't have any VRM heatsink.
