Cpu undervolt

ever undervolting destroy processor? My friend's 3600 died & he suspecting undervolting as a criminal.

Most probably no. It could maybe cause system instability if done improperly.

I don't think undervolting would destroy a processor just make it inoperable due to the lack of power

that cpu could still work, just not able to turn on

depending on how many volts were going through it

undervolting can affect stability, but in theory lower voltage cant cause a processor to wear out faster than expected.

Undervolting can't directly kill a cpu

If you undervolted alot and you didn't have a good quality PSU that could provide little amount of wattage consistently  it's could render the machine unstable
