I dropped a cpu. What are my chances that the cpu still might work.

I was moving my i3 cpu to storage. But I didn't hold the cpu well enough, so I dropped it. I'm still hoping that It might work. I just don't have enough extra parts to test it.

As long as no components are damaged, theoretically it should be ok.

Looks ok to me. Put it back and test it. If it boots your good, if not, well then you will know.

Ye I borrowed some parts to get it to boot. I guess I was lucky

You was lucky, if it had damaged any of the circuitry under the PCB surface it would be dead but apparently the damage didn't penetrate deep enough to hurt anything... Which is a good thing.
