Fan sizes

I’m planning to build a PC, but I’m not sure what fans will work with my case. The spacing between holes is 90mm, but I don’t know what size fan I’ll be able to use with that spacing. Bit of help here?

I’m using an Acer Aspire AM1201-E1621A case.

Those are likely 80mm and 92mm fan sizes.

Yes, back then 120mm fans were a bit rare in consumer cases. 80mm and 92mm were the norm. I've got a 3900 RPM 92x34mm beast, probably one of the strongest fans I have lol. It'll take your fan header out if you hot plug it :D

Just tested the mounts with a cut out, and they use 95mm fans. Thanks, everyone!

I’ve run into a bit of a pickle with my search for fans.

Most of the 95mm fans I could find were from brands I’ve never even heard of before, and didn’t come with an outside casing for them. Would a 92mm fan work with 95mm fan mounting holes?

95mm is not right. 92mm is what you want.
