then 90mm square frame fans should be the one it's designed for.

Those are likely 80mm and 92mm fan sizes. :)

Yes, back then 120mm fans were a bit rare in consumer cases. 80mm and 92mm were the norm. I've got a 3900 RPM 92x34mm beast, probably one of the strongest fans I have lol. It'll take your fan header out if you hot plug it :D

95mm is not right. 92mm is what you want.
