Computer Chairs

How do you pick a computer chair?

Where do you get started in learning about it?

There's a lot of chairs, but I don't know any brand names aside from DX Racer & I hear the race chairs might be bad for your posture.

I didn't see a section for chairs.

There has to be some sort of sizing chart too because the current chair I have has the lumbar support too low & isn't adjustable. The whole chair seems to be for someone several inches shorter than me. Armwrests & neck support are lower than I need. Even at highest neck adjustment.
(Also my chair is falling apart, so I can't just modify it.)

Ergonomic over everything.

From there, pick price.

Then realize that Herman Miller is the way to go and try and find some open box sales.

Note: Ergonomics> Anything else in a chair, in most cases

DX racer Isn't too bad fo budget gaming chairs, but their higher-end products usually arn't the greatest. Honestly imho many computer chairs under $250 or so will seem the same, for both office and gaming. I suggest you get some firsthand experience with office chairs, and gaming chairs (If you can, gaming chairs are a lot more rare in stores, and usually are pretty crappy). Then, if you can narrow down a budget, and if you know if you like/dislike office chairs (office chairs are supposed to be the most ergonomic, but some people dont feel that way and high-end gaming chairs can also be quite ergonomic), you can start doing research for your price range, and narrow it down to a few chairs, and then maybe take a look at customer reviews..

(Gushing review below, TL;DR: the Secretlab titan a great chair, and good for your posture and it's fine for an office environment, but is $400, or $350 for the smaller varient. Secretlab.co is the web adress if you're still interested.)

I have  a Secretlab Titan and I love it (It's a gaming chair-) After about 4 months of ownership.

4d armrests, adjustable lubar support, head cushion, tilt-adjustable backrest, a height and tilt adjustable seat, and like a 3 year warrenty that can be extended to 5 if you leave a review for them. I had an office chair before, and my posture actually improved, for whatever reason, and the chair itself is mild enough to be put into a literal office. Only downside? It's $400.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.
