I don't play fortnite but you probably will notice a 15-25% increase again I could be wrong as I don't know how fortnite taxes both the GPU or the cpu but I would assume it's more cpu intensive so with the extra ipc count on the new apu you should expect at least a decent bump

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

He'll get a decent bump - I'd expect more along the lines of 40-50% since he IS running a Piledriver-based APU.

Consider a 3100 since it's close in price but MUCH better than the 1200AF

Yes but you can buy a nice dinner with 50 Dollars as well

Invest well with your system your 1200 af won't last long  if you save up just a bit you will get your money's worth

The 3100 is so MUCH better

Better imc

It has smt

Better ipc count

Better cache layout and ccx arrangements and cache latency

I'm sorry what ? If you mean will you achieve 60 with the 1200 af then yes but that's not the point the point is that you have to pay a little extra to get a WAYYY better experience

Please save up so you won't have to upgrade ever couple of years

If there is no 3100 I guess the 1200 af

The difference between them is not a whole lot since zen and zen + are close to each other ;)
