You should be more than fine. However knowing the rest of your specs could be useful...Just to double check

if it's a good 750 watt PSU, yes. A 2080 will draw about 250 watts by itself and you'd be hard pressed to find a consumer CPU that pulls over 150 watts at load.

Make sure you quote us so we can see your responses. This rig should run fine with a 2080.

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
