Are there any coolers that will fit on the hp Elitedesk 800 g1 other than the stock cooler

Is it the tower or the desktop?

If is the desktop "slim" design, most low profile coolers won't be any better than what's on it now.

So I'm moving my MOBO into a new case but the cooler is screw directly into the case

You wont need the tube part of the heat sink. You can eliminate that part when move to a new case.

 

And what is the new case so we can suggest a better cooler??
