If you have a partition with an OS and files in it which is too big for the SSD, you could delete files and shrink the partition to size (I think).

No, shrinking is not necessary when you're using Macrium Reflect. Only size of files must be smaller than capacity of new drive.

Well in that case it's even better, just delete some files (which of course means, back them up somewhere) and migrate.
