At the moment, Doom eternal

You can get by another GPU upgrade in this system then, say an RX 5600XT or a 2060.

Budget (including currency): 1000$ (AUD)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details

I need a little bit of guidance. I've been finding lately the my system is struggling with the latest games. Its roughly 5 - 6 years old. I'm looking for the best path to upgrade, weather it's just buying a new GPU which would sort me out for another couple of years, or completely scrapping and starting a new build?
