What is this part of my case used for?

Possible stupid question. This is my first PC build. I’ve done a lot of research ahead of time, but before I begin? Can anyone tell me what these sections of the case are for? It seems most people don’t put anything here but I’m curious. Thanks in advance.

I believe the bottom bit might be a mount for a hard drive cage attachment to allow you to add more drives. The other 3 holes are either for cable management or possibly 2.5 inch drives maybe, but more likely to be just for cable managing.

It would help if you told us what case it is, but the cutouts look like they are for 2.5" drives. The bottom rail is probably for 3.5" drives or it could be for a pump/reservoir mount for a water cooling loop.

It’s a sekira 500x. I was thinking it might be for a reservoir also but wasn’t sure if that was a common mount.

Hey there. The bottom railing(?) should fit a 3.5" drive cage. (Edit: I think I figured the vertical spaces out. Might be space to route the cables coming from the HDD cages?)
