Deleting partitions

I have 1 hard drive and i have 2 partitions

If i delete the other partition (Disk D not C)

What happens? Because i want only 1 partition

You won't have that a partition, but everything else will work fine.

no partitions dont work that way and the c drive will be the same so will the d drive 

you just wont have a partition for what ever the hell that useless feature does

And a drive D that has 300 GB space

If i delete drive D will the C drive have 400 GB space

a partition is made to allocate certain storage to a specific thing 

when you remove the partition 

that allocated storage will store the certain thing just with everything else

Once you delete the partition that will be marked as free space, and you can extend your C to use it. 

That is supposing both partitions are on the same physical drive of course.

Can you show a picture of the partition layout?

 

Normally. you delete D, then extend C, and you will have one big C partition.
