Asus gtx 1080 ti turbo fan rattling

So I have this Asus gtx 1080ti turbo. However I have has some weird things going with it ever since I got it. So when the fan speed is in the range of around 40-60% it starts to raddle. The fan feels a tiny bit loose but not too much. Like I can spin it and it won’t like... let’s say displace. However if I push it a little bit, it moves a tiny bit but letting go put it back to the position. Is this normal at all? The ratting doesn’t happen at like 0-40% and 60-100%

I should also mention I did buy this in like new condition but Asus would say used... so I don’t have a warranty. Anything I can do to fix this?

did you buy it used?

most blower style cards have 3 screws that hold the fan in place, some of the screws could be missing or they have gotten unscrewed(thus introducing a bit of rattle)

Have you tried cleaning the card, especially the fan?

Well yes in a way. So I bought it from this person that was going to use it as a mining GPU. However they installed it and never really just got the rig going. So like new and barley used but the box came with it said 2017 so even if it was in warranty it would probably be gone by now anyway unless they bought it later in the year.

Well not too much because it looked pretty clean when I got it and I think I did blow a little can of compressed air on it.

Update to the situation. I sent it to ASUS and apparently the fan fell off. So because of their RMA policy they just replaced the whole graphics card which is well... I’m not against that. I don’t think it’s brand new but hey at least it’s not so loud anymore.
