I am planning to buy a new thermal paste, after a long research, I decided to buy Artic Mx-4

while browsing through amazon i found three thermal pastes

Artic Mx-4 , Artic Mx-4 2019 edition , Artic Mx-4 2020 edition

which is better and which should i buy, and i am buying this for my laptop.

Those are all good, about the same, so whicever you choose you won't make a bad choice.

I am still confused, is newer=better? or more purchased=better?

Newer = newer. Might be better, might be the same, all that is known is that the packaging is different.

More purchased = not a measure, since the older might have a long history of sales.
