NEED HELP -> CPU RUNNING EXTREMELY HOT

My cpu is running at 60-70 degrees celsius idle, and high 80's while playing basic games. I have reapplied thermal paste, made sure my cooler is all the way on, all my other hardware is normal termperautre. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and really need help because I feel like I have tried everything in terms of trying to get it to cool down and nothing is working

what is your room temperature? normally if you are in a hot country, that kind of temperatures, especially on the stock cooler is kinda normal

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

Those temps are about right for Ryzen chips from my experience. My 3800x idles at 52c even though its attached to a 140mm AIO. If you have PBO enabled and your motherboard has the overclock enhancements enabled (some do by default) you can turn those off to reduce temps.

Those are the normal temperatures for a Ryzen 5 3600 in a bad case in a warm room when using the stock cooler.

Zen 2 produces a lot of heat, and that stock cooler the 3600 comes with is plain bad.

 

Any AM4 compatible tower cooler with a few heatpipes and a fan of 92mm or larger would solve your temperature problems.

The cheapest I'd go would be the Snowman cooler from AliExpress. Or one of those better Wraith coolers (like the ones that come with the 2700X).

You probalby have a bad ventilated case. ¨try to add more fans on the case or/and get a better cooler

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
