Just a quick reminder that M.2 is a form factor, it can be SATA or PCIe NVME.

 

What capacity do you need to your SSD to be? If you're a normal user, an NVME SSD is probably overkill.

I would say at least 500 gb but i think SATA i just fine for me

Does the motherboard supports M.2?

Old PC don't have it, only the last 3 years.

I recommend getting an Samsung 860 EVO (even though it may not be the greatest value on paper).
