I used teamspeak for a year and loved it, good quality. its awesome but I was changing server hoster and I though I would try vent as I can easily switch back to teamspeak. I dont know what is really better though. I love teamspeak UI and quality but vent has some cool features and settings.

I like the simplicity of ventrilo. It makes it very easy to have a server, and have people connect that aren't going to mess with settings for an hour and a half...

i used vent before i switched to TS3 and IMO TS3 is way better with better Sound Quality, UI as you mentioned.

Ventrilo has a more simplistic/older look and feel to it. Ventrilo is not bad but it can't measure up to TS3.

i think Vent takes up less internet bandwidth as the soundquality is lower, but i really dont think it is noticeable.
