Posted May 13, 2020 Anybody hear this sound coming from their computer? It sounds like a constant electrical buzz thats a lot louder than coil whine. its hard to tell but i think its coming from the psu. I actually replaced the PSU and it was ok for a bit, but the noise came back. When i tip the pc over on its side the noise goes away for a bit but comes back. Could somebody help me figure out whats causing this annoying noise? Specs: Ryzen 7 2700x B450 Tomahawk Max Tforce Delta DDR4 16GB @3200mhz MSI 2070 Super OC Ventus Gigabyte B700H Semi Modular PSU PC_Buzzing_Noise.MOV Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted May 13, 2020 Ok do you have any case fans ? If so check if they aren't the problem (just unplug them don't stick your finger there lol). Also try unplugging the video card or find a way to disable its fans just to test as MSI Ventus models are known to suck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Thanks for your response; i actually tried uplugging and reseating everything including case fans, cpu cooler, video card but the noise seems to come back. Posted May 13, 2020 Author its weird, none of the other fans seem to be making the noise. I tried tweaking the fan speed for my GPU on Msi Afterburner but that didnt seem to be it. (the only one i cant really see was the PSU, but i got it replaced and its still making the noise Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
