Laptop to external monitor questions

SomecoolLegsfreshMens

I don't have any knowledge in this,

Anyway can USB 3.2 port from a laptop

(asus tuf a15) Run  a 1080p 240hz external monitor or higher?

Just wanted to get the extra refresh rates maybe if it can do 4k ill consider buying a 4k 240hz.

I heard the thunderbolt 3 is an overkill for 4k but thats another topic ill discuss later.

USB 3.2 cannot drive a monitor.

EDIT:  It wouldn't surprise me if they do, but do 240Hz monitors even exist? I don't think there's such thing as overkill for 4k, but I doubt there's any PC out there that can consistantly drive 4k at 144hz nevermind 240.

what i mean by this is usb 3.2 cable converted to HDMI/DVI and then plug it on external monitor to see if it matches the speed or not without any stuttering,

I think the usb 3.2 have 10gb/s speed.

But thats all i know about it.

I'm not too sure about that, but regardless, HDMI 2.0 only allows 4k60hz
