Fan Placement

Hi there, I just have a few questions about where I should be placing my fans. 

Here is a *very* crude picture of my current fans, I could've taken a picture but it was incredibly unclear. 

 

 

I don't know much, if anything about fans and cooling, but from what I do know, the current placement is pretty rubbish. 

I just purchased 5 more fans. Though, it would be ideal if I only used those 5. Could someone possibly suggest better placements for these fans, including direction, and also suggest a place for the 5th fan.

Flip over fan 1 so it's exhaust.

i'd flip both fans 1 and 2

mmmk, I would flip Fan 1, the rear fan, to exhaust to make sure you're taking hot air out of the PC.

What case do you have? What radiator are you using?

Generally people use a neutral airflow structure, meaning equal air in as out. Right now everything is configured as intake, no outtake. That means you are probably sucking in air without a filter in the back (and possibly top).

 

I would flip the top&back fan around, so they are exhaust and if possible add the last remaining fan either at the bottom right (if possible) or the top (if possible).

That case can only fit 4 fans. Two in the front, one in the top and one in the back. Unless you're counting push&pull that is.

I guess since you have a poor front intake case, you could make the front push/pull to force as much air as possible through the front filters. Also getting a magnetic filter to put on the top intake would be nice.
