I bought an NH-D14 and I also bought  Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound 3.5 Grams

I did not know, but the NH-D14 came with it's own thermal paste

Which one of the two should I use?

Whichever you want, there won't be much difference. (~2 degrees?)

All CPU coolers tend to come with their own. Just keep your Arctic silver to one side and use it whenever you need to change the thermal paste in anything.

the arctic silver will probably be a bit better, though Noctuas paste is really good also.

alcohol on what? q-tips or just paper, towel, idk I really don't want liquid near my pc im new sorry :S

Put a really small ammount on your towel and smoothly clean it.I suggest a smooth towel, you don't want to damage your cpu cooler.Make sure to completely remove it when you are done!

Real 99% isopropanol alcohol is not conductive. So it is no problem to use it. And I amusing Noctuas paste for years now. I is relay god. Maybe the silver will be 1-2°C colder...

Use the paste you like it does not matter

The good thing with noctua is that all their products come with their own fans and thermal paste, no crappy OEM stuff. Noctua paste'll do you fine. I also believe it's non conductive unlike Silver 5, so if you're worried about shorting I'd use the noctua
